Star Wars Celebration Japan print, "Star
Wars Forever!" This
was our first limited edition print. We are official Lucasfilm artists and invited to attend the Star Wars Celebration
held in Japan on July 18-21st 2008. The print is a limited edition of 250 signed copies and only available at the CELEBRATION
in Japan. The painting took approximately 1 month to complete, both of us working in shifts, one during the day and
other at night on this massive painting. The painting is 36x18 inches and features 54 characters from both Star Wars
trilogies with Anakin and Darth Vader holding their Light Sabers to frame the two Epic trilogies seperately. Below you can view the actual Celebration print and on the right side
glimpse a view of the painting in early pencil form, a work in progress stage (you can see the overwhelming amount of work
left to do for the painting and feel a bit of sympathy for the two madmen who thought this would be "easy" to do)
and lastly, two photos of the finished painting.
